The Bristol Life Awards 2026
Last night, some of our wonderful team attended the Bristol Life Awards at Ashton Gate Stadium.
The awards brought together many of the city’s most impactful organisations, making it a real honour to be nominated in the Charity category.

We are really proud to have been named a finalist, which marks a significant moment in our 60th anniversary year, and highlights the longstanding commitment our team has to providing exceptional supported housing for older people across the region.
Even though we didn’t win the award on this occasion, Adam Rees, our Chief Executive of Abbeyfield Bristol & Keynsham, said:
“To be nominated as a finalist in our 60th year is deeply meaningful. This is a testament to the dedication of our team and the progress we’ve made to secure a vibrant future for our residents. We are woven into the fabric of this city, and our mission remains to offer the comfort and dignity that every older person deserves.”
We’d like to say a huge congratulations to 1625 Independent People, who took home the award for the outstanding work they do to help prevent homelessness in Bristol and keep young people safe. A very worthy winner!
Thank you to all staff at Abbeyfield Bristol and Keynsham who work so hard to make our houses wonderful communities for our residents.
We’re looking forward to celebrating our 60th anniversary with all of you throughout the year!
