Regular Exercise for Redland Residents
Physical exercise has many advantages for older adults. Alongside mood-boosting benefits, exercise helps us to stay independent for longer, keeps us mobile, and helps to prevent falls. Staff and volunteers at Abbeyfield House in Redland offer keep fit classes four times a week via the Alive Activities exercise programme. Residents use balls and bands to assist strength work and balance control.
Some lovely photos here of residents this week.
