Cook Kift Lodge, Hanham

Join our team at Kift Lodge in Hanham as a weekend Cook. 

Duties:

• Prepare and cook a variety of nutritous meals using fresh produce.
• Work closely with the House Manager to design seasonal menus.
• Complete relevant paperwork to ensure safe running of the kitchen.
• Stock rotation and control.
• Responsible for opening and closing the Kitchen, including the kitchens are clean and tidy at the end of the day.
• To make sure you meet the legal and company requirements for fire, safety, health and hygiene.
• Complete essential in-house training.

Your experience:

• You will need to have Food and Hygiene Level 2.
• Experience of working in a busy kitchen. 

The successful candidate will be very good at dealing with people, composed at all times, approachable and flexible in their approach to work. Interest in and experience with older people will be an advantage but is not essential.

Hours of Work:

• Friday, Saturday and Sunday (alternate weeks)
• 8.30am to 6.30pm
• £15 per hour

You will be working in our supportive, friendly team in a beautiful Abbeyfield house in Hanham, Bristol.
