It’s a great time to be part of Abbeyfield Bristol & Keynsham Society. As we open our fifth house in our 50th year, this really is an exciting period of development and expansion for us. We’re recruiting now for new Trustees with expertise, enthusiasm and energy to join our Board.

As a Trustee, you’ll be involved in commercial and strategic decision-making to help the our Society move forward: You’ll explore the possibilities for new projects; helping to create our vision and shape the future of this small but crucial charity. Your role will be pivotal in our development.

You’ll be required to attend quarterly Board meetings, one of which combines with our Annual General Meeting in March each year.  In addition to this, we have a management sub-committee which holds regular meetings, focusing on marketing, finance and operations, and which reports back to the wider body of Trustees.  We aim to schedule meetings at a time that’s convenient for those in employment.
