Everyone at Abbeyfield Bristol and Keynsham is devastated and deeply saddened at the news that Her Majesty the Queen has passed away.
What an incredible life she has lead, one of truly selfless service to the entire nation and to the Commonwealth. She has touched so many lives with her warmth, zest for life and sense of fun, and millions across the world will feel her loss. She was an exceptional, inspiring, empowering lady who gave her life to others, a constant steadying and reassuring presence in a turbulent world.
We send our love and heartfelt condolences to all her family, immediate and extended. We all share the pain of the loss of such a wonderful person, and we wish them strength on this darkest of days, and for the time ahead.
Rest in peace, your Majesty – and thank you from the depths of our hearts for all you have done for so many, giving yourself so freely and constantly.
