Today to celebrate National Volunteers Day, we invited some of our wonderful volunteers for a ‘thank you’ cream tea at Abbeyfield House in Keynsham.
Lots of people came along including our award-winning volunteer gardening team, the team from Churches Together, “retired” handyman Richard, our Duke of Edinburgh coorinator Ciaran, and our amazing house team who all work tirelessly to ensure Abbeyfield House is a very special place to live.
We also wished Jim, our head volunteer gardener, a very happy 80th birthday and presented him with a garden-themed cake made by cook Laura.
