Enjoying Burns Night Celebrations
Here’s 102 year old Jack, who lives at Kift Lodge in Hanham, celebrating Burns Night yesterday. Thanks to our talented cook Vicky, our residents enjoyed a fabulous menu of Aberdeen Angus Steak Pie with a side of haggis, served with neaps and tatties, leek gratin and peppercorn and whisky sauce. WOW!

Dinner was a smaller menu of traditional Scotch broth and Scottish smoked salmon with celeriac but we should think everyone was still pretty full after such a delicious lunch.
Our residents had a wonderful time but we’ve just one question for you … would you have tried the haggis?
