It’s been a fabulously busy this week at our house in Hanham. We enjoyed a talk from a district nurse, who spoke to us about frequent ailments amongst elderly people and advised us what to do.
We welcomed Mr David McCullough, the Chief Executive of The Abbeyfield Society, who wanted to pay us a visit. And, despite gales and dropping temperatures, we’ve kept ourselves busy with a delightful creative craft morning today, during which we made bug hotels. It was definitely something different and we’ve placed them around the garden to give our little friends somewhere to live through the Winter.
